Sean's submission notes:

This month I looked mostly skyward and focused on interesting features.
This bunch is from two shoots, both around midday.

The images with ghosted clouds have been entirely captured with
graduated filter work, with no cropping just telephoto adjustments.

Contrast, desat as seen, lots of spots removed from dirty crap
somewhere in the body or lens.. Probably missed a few.

You will notice a fair bit of grain mainly due to filter and post

Martins review comments:

Hmmm, nice few in that lot. Very architectural which suits you.

I have two clear winners. Both of which I would print, frame and hang - Art.
Anyone and everyone would pause, look, devour and remember.

  • Screened has an uncanny mix of wild and symmetry which works really
well. I see a little bit of lens distort, but meh. Perfectly cooked.

  • UFO is my second choice only because the crop is annoying me at the
bottom for some reason....Not sure if I want to see more or less here. I
don't think the shot could be improved with the scalpel however.

Different POV possibly. Great to see you getting the tripod out in the big smoke.

Sean's review comments:

Mate good to see some snaps coming out from your camera for a change.

Its been so long I thought it might be full of spiders?.. No seriously well done, its
hard to get back in the saddle after an extended period of time. Hope it felt good.

OK down to business, I knew this one would have had some variation between
us, I mean Art? it's such a personal subjective topic that squeezes the creativity
out from you. As each person is different, you can expect a different outcome.

Saying all that - I can in sort tell its your industrial edgy style, reminiscent of
some of your other work.

I too have narrowed down your lot to two pics in order of Merit.

  • Braids, I am liking the sci-fi nature of the stainless working against the
black shadows and frame, some motion evoked with viewing too.

  • Buzz Saw, Cool shot with good contrasting colours. Again I am picking up
some movement you have created with the distortion which adds some
    drama.

Other shots, Crystaline and Face, see you were working something here with
these tiles. Perhaps a key light may have added some further interest?

Rubble, Xray meets aggregate?  NFQ

Hey wheres my taster!
