I can appreciate the challenge you faced with the set up of this pic. I really am impressed with the level of
detail you have on the moon with the foliage colour in the foreground creates a well balanced image that
imparts a grounding feeling to me, as well as a bit of mystery? Push Flash is it - well done.
Other image notes:
Voyeur: is my second pick - well framed nice contrasting colour
Gravity: Yep fear and loathing time - interesting
Many moons ago: suitable title - I can see you have been scrounging for material
Morning Glory: good attempt considering the time of the day you got up to get it - I love it
Nearly Full: Decent lens you have there - I think the colour is off and could of been warmed up

1. Voyeur – Shot taken during the early morning with bright sunshine. 100 ISO, fast shutter and closed aperture. Image stock from camera.
2. Gravity – Again shot mid morning with moon low in the sky. Standard exposure. Image manipulated for distortion and cropped.
3. Heaven and Earth – This was difficult. I used a push flash at around 1/800 and a moderate aperture to get some colour in the foliage. Image cropped only.
4. Many Moons Ago – Image is a simple multiple exposure stock from camera. Image cropped.
5. Nearly Full – Shot in Black and White. Cropped, no need for fluff.
6. Morning Glory – Image cropped. No fluffing.

"Stairway to heaven"

A real tough topic this time of year in the Tropics........ But we never wanted this to be a walk in the park. Stairway to
Heaven is a great shot captured at just the right moment. It is well balanced and easy on the eye.
This is a type of shot that may have been improved with some increased field depth, and/or some light injection to give a
hint of colour on the palm frond which would have added further interest. That said, it would have made it a far more
difficult capture with obvious flow on effects.
Other Images:
Lunar1 - Stock shot. Clarity is good, not great. Maybe not taken using tripod?? Would have been better during waning
gibbous phase to capture Mare Crisium and nearby crater detail.
Tropical Moon - I nearly chose this one..... Maybe I should have. Great shot!
Milkyway - I see this as an album cover from the 70s. Hang on, I think I have that one.
Solar Flare - I see this as an album cover from the 80s. Pink Floyd maybe. I do like this one,and would look terrific printed.
