Sean's submission notes:
Ok Bras here are my ten, my approach was to
walk to the Australian Musuem (10 min walk from
our hotel) and to shoot a series.
Found the skeleton exhibit the most intriging and
challenging at the same time, all taken within the
room all within 10m or so within ten minutes -
check meta data
I shaved off most of the background light spill
with a fast shutter whilst keeping an eye on the
ISO to balance the exposures between shoots.
Ok there is not much variety but I hope you like
them m8?

Martin's submission notes:
First again..... Much more challenging than when I
had a crack at this a few years ago.
I was lucky enough to hit a future industrial site
near Swanbank - check the co-ords, (thought I
might see a few discarded corpses once I got out
of the car).
Didn't change lenses as I had planned, so kept
trudging with my dog zoom - that thing has seen
some shit that no lens should.
Must say that I did have the light on my side.
Image note - who cares?

Martin's Pick - and comments: "Skeleton Museum 11"
Really great subject matter, and pretty cool to get the run of the place with a camera. Obviously lacking variety, but I guess there was nigh all else to shoot
within 10m.
All the shots have come up quite nicey with their own special flair or POV. Some would make some prime stock images too... Look into that one braaaz.
For me to pick a winner was not an easy task as I really had nothing to hone in on. So in my usual flippant fashion I have chosen the one that would look
best hung on a wall. Skeleton Museum 11 (the frigging Baboon looking thing) would print up very nicely in large format. A real talking point, and scary
enough to keep the kids mitts off it. Lighting and DOF make this. Punished dark background pops it out just nice.
Other images in order of merit:
- Skeleton Museum 9 - Similar reasons to the winner why this has ranked so high.
- Skeleton Museum 8 - Excellent stock image fodder.
- Skeleton Museum 3 - Hmm, if only the verticals were vertical........ Rookie mistake here braaaaaz. Great composition and lighting otherwise
- Skeleton Museum 15 - I like this one for the hint of action. Looks as though it will move at any moment. Again nice light and comp.
I won't bang on with the others. All very nice and well processed. All in all a good 10 minutes woth of grabs.

Sean's Pick - and comments: Reflector
Well must say you nailed the brief for the month with stacks of variety and creativity seen in your shots.
Considering the google earth location it looks like there would be slim pickings but the photographer’s eye has found some gems.
My favorite shot here is:
- 'Reflector' due mainly to the creative way you have dealt with the colours and composition. Yes its pushed to a wacky exposure level but intrigued me
enough to sit and work it out from where I was rewarded. Should clone out dot on top..Helped having the “Kimberly” image to piece things together.
In second place I had to give it to:
- 'Flood Damage' as the scale of this image plays with my eyes. It reminds me of the flood devastation I have seen from the air from several hundred
metres away however this shot was taken from shoulder height. The brown chocolately tones and frozen movement move the eyes around the frame too.
Other images in order of merit:
- ‘Yesterdays news’ love the depth of field here, a bit filthy too.
- 'Energy' yep I can see some weird coloured grass seeds which intrigue me, I like the hap hazardness of the wires and sunlight. Busy yes..
- 'Well Worn' The tyre imprint looks perfectly pressed with the symmetry, slightly blurred though..
- 'Kimberly', yes indeed – looks like an album cover waiting to happen. Cool colours.
- 'Private property', yep not bad either feels a little imbalanced and would have loved to see something else in the middle of the water/ frame to pull me in.
- 'Seeweed', a bit too trippy for me at this hour of the morning, were you abducted?

Martins Brief
Here it is. I call it the “10” challenge, and here’s how it works.
1. You travel 10 minutes to location (walk, run, drive, cycle) and stop – ensuring it is safe to do so.
2. From that location you can move anywhere within a 10m radius
3. In 10 minutes only you must capture your shots (as many as you like, but 10 must be submitted)
4. You are free to use any piece of kit and do any post manipulation, (see below)
5. A “shot” can be
a. A single image
b. An HDR
c. A Gif
d. A multiple exposure
e. A timelapse (good luck with that one)
6. A “shot” cannot be a Composite
Time / date it is up to you.
In order to keep things kocher – you are permitted to attempt the “10” challenge 2 times only, then select your submission of 10.
Scoring will be heavily focused on Variety across the 10 images.
This will be challenging
