"The truth is out there"

Great shot, well composed - nil darkroom is one reason I chose this shot.
I guess my interpretation for a Self Portrait is that the shot should represent the subject's being - be it reality
or fantasy..... I think I can see Seano most in this shot. The hat, cigar, penguin lookin thingy, and of course
the liitle green man. All this adds up, and takes it out this month for me.

I would have really liked to see a bit more "body" in some (all) shots.

Other image notes:

Dazed and Confused - Would have liked to have seen a small focus point.
B&W1 - Like it. Light and composition work well.... What was cropped?
Stargate - Really cool shot, but no where near enough "self".
At Rest - Cute and cuddly you ain't. But in this shot I dunno. Nice depth and composition.
Hellboy - Nice work - should have been a nude.

I'd really like to tackle this subject again..... You??

"Doormat"

Doormat:
Love the shot, great light and good to see you can still
suck it in and not look like you are.. The sweat gives a little away –
at rest but still hot, Don’t like the name though, a better one would
be “The Dean” although cigar would be needed. Nice setup with
nothing touched in post production.

At one with it: Double exposures are something I don’t think my
camera can do, I am impressed with the creativity it offers – and
can imagine how much effort goes into getting the composition
right.

Feeling blue: Reads a little frustrating with the lean, your mouth &
eye expression looks like your working it two hard. I like the wash
all the same
.

Ganesha Dreaming: Even better than your other double exposure
– colours work well most of your bollard captured over the mull bowl
texture. Good job with so much going on.

Obscured: well this is a top shot – I am not sure what you have
going on down there bra! That’s one massive motor? Well
balanced probably could have got you dick in this one without
giving to much away. Hands on the glass remind me of some sort
of X-File case with someone in air lock arrangement. My second
pick

Naturalist –Technically a great shot however I do get the stalker in
the bushes feeling with your serious expression sort of thing -
perhaps if you were looking at the camera this would be different.

Gyro: Nice one mate & interestingly enough the twirl fits nicely
around you creating symmetry exposing your tattoo?

I am not sure if I want to do this topic again for a while, I do have
some ideas however and might do some experimenting.
