'Beaded'
Ok again nice work with your images, It is a pity that you mixed up what the topic was however let me put
on my purple coloured glasses as I begin to reverse engineer your shots against the topic that was
intended!!
Some of the shots I need to push myself to see the connection but eventually get it.
We might need to introduce the image intent for the abstract topics to assist in future.
It really came down to two hard picks for me but taking the hard line my selection was
Beaded – it jumps off the screen and wacks me – and the threshold of the beads certainly creates the
intent of the subject. Slightly over exposy but the textures and patterns really come together well. And
although a prop to the furniture may have taken this further – probably would have introduced to many
variables of risk.

- Blue Fem: top shot bras, really punchy also and nice use of colour filter, focus on the money with
the right depth of field to create the unknown to the background. Not sure of the intent with the
topic but certainly gets me thinking of many ideas. - Plugger: I can see where you are going with this submission – and as surreal as it is I needed to
place this one in third place. A touch blurred to the foreground and perhaps it didn’t need to be
but the interest to the background makes for a nice trippy composition. - Sprung: In the same light as beaded with the geometry in play again. Nicely cropped with enough
interest hold the eye . - Literate: Yep get the topic easy enough a little distracted by the hot chick. (Please get me that
book 101 things!) Colours bounce around nicely with the division of shelf.

"Stay Back"
Very nice variety this month.
It was an easy choice for me however with one shot
really hitting topic.
Stay Back – Excellent capture of a moment in time.
Plenty of faces in the crowd, and an interesting
gesture from the foreground person (uncertain of sex
here). Black and white enhances mood, and light and
composition are on the money.

- Dont go over: Nice action shot of something
weird going on. Great colour and crisp enough.
Girls really grab the attention however. - Barbed: Love the simplicity. NFQ.
- Boarders: Fun and punchy image. Great
colours and nicely arranged. - Let uz in: Strongly on topic, but I don't see
enough passion in the shot - as there probably
was at the time. Not very keen on the darkroom
mods. - Rivited: An interesting shot (love that plugger)
but topic connection was hard for me.... . - No Go: Yup. Little interest here for me.
- The Edge: Nice textures but I could'nt connect
to this one. Maybe I am losing my imagination.
